The long-term exhibition at the castle gives fascinating insight of the regional history, from prehistorical rights up to the present.
Tyrol castle, which was first mentioned in the 11th century and from which the region around was governed until 1420. Even the region where it's built in, was named after the castle.
In the temple of the castle discoveries of human settlement are displayed. On your way from the Eastern Palace to the Kaiser's Hall you discover different facets of the Middle Ages, from the customs to the music.
The refuge for birds of prey
Tyrol Castle is also home to the Tirolo refuge for birds of prey, which offers regular flight shows.
