We have to take care of our corona pounds

That`s why we reveal to you our chocolate cake recipe

I can tell you right away that it`s the only cake I bake on my own. It`s very easy to prepare and therefore something for everyone who isn`t that much into baking but very much enjoys some homemade goodies.

Here's the recipe:

loaf pan 25 cm long
  • 200g butter
  • 200g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 160g flour
  • 40g cocoa powder
  • 4g baking powder

Chocolate cake preparation:
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees convection.
  2. Take the butter and the eggs out of the refrigerator about an hour before and let them come to the same temperature.
  3. Beat the softened butter with the sugar until fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs a little at a time. Stir for about 5 minutes in total.
  5. Sift the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder together and then fold into the butter and sugar mixture until smooth.
  6. Grease and flour the pan and spread the batter in it.
  7. Put the cake in the oven and bake for 10 minutes at 200 degrees. Then reduce the temperature to 150 degrees and let the cake bake for another 20 minutes.
  8. Let the cake cool for about half an hour before you turn it out of the pan.
  9. The topping be made by everyone as you prefer - chocolate shavings, powdered sugar, or glaze. Everything tastes delicious :)

Please don`t be surprised if the cake looks very unstable when it comes out of the oven. Please be sure to stick to the baking times and temperatures! It has a very moist, almost liquid center and almost tastes better the second day than the first.
