Warning sign is mandatory

For anyone traveling to South Tyrol with a bike rack, clear rules for safe driving have been in effect since January 21, 2025: the license plate must either be clearly visible or duplicated on the rack. 

The total load width is restricted to a maximum of 2.55m. As this is considered an overhanging load, a red and white rreflective warning panel measuring 50c50cm must be attachet to the end of the load.
