FAQ Covid-19

For a carefree holiday with us

Special times require special measures.

We strictly follow the regional statutory provisions.
In the following article we responded to the most frequent questions.

For a carefree holiday we compiled some answers to your most important questions:

What is the procedure for entering and Italy/South Tyrol?

Checklist for entry into South Tyrol (from EU countries and Schengen states):

  • EU digital COVID certificate (Green Pass): vaccination or convalescence certificate, otherwise negative antigen or PCR test.
  • Online registration via the European Digital Passenger Localisation Form prior to entry: https://app.euplf.eu/#/
The proof of vaccination: counts from the 14th day after the complete vaccination.
Proof of recovery: Proof of having recovered from a Covid 19 infection in the last six months;
Proof of testing: Proof of a negative antigen or PCR test, which must not be older than 48 hours. The PCR test or antigen test must be performed by a healthcare provider who is authorised to do so. The Corona self-tests for home use, which are available in discount stores or drugstores, are generally not accepted by the authorities.

What must I generally observe in the hotel? (Guest hygiene etiquette):
  • The legal minimum distance of 1 metre applies throughout the hotel and must be observed by everyone (does not apply to those who already share a room).
  • In South Tyrol, and thus also in our hotel, there is a general obligation (also for children over 6 years of age) to wear a face mask (FFP2 mask is recommended) whenever the minimum distance cannot be kept - unless you are sitting in the restaurant or at the bar and eating or drinking something ;) At the reception you can ask for a face mask.
  • Disinfectant dispensers are available in several places in the hotel (doors that do not open automatically, buffet area, lift) and in your room.
  • We kindly ask you not to use the lift with other guests and to wash/disinfect your hands regularly.
  • Please avoid crowding in corridors or staircases.

What safety measures are there to observe during meals?
  • The designated minimum distance is observed in our restaurant and on the terrace.
  • No face mask is necessary at the table. The restaurant is constantly ventilated by us with fresh air (without recirculation). In good weather, all doors and windows are open.
  • NEW 2021: The new terrace deck by the rock pool now creates more free space for breakfast.
  • Buffet area: You can help yourself to our breakfast and evening buffet face mask (an FFP2 mask is recommended), a minimum distance of 1m and prior hand disinfection.

What are the special arrangements in the spa area "Studio 40a"?
  • Our entire spa area with all pools and saunas is in operation.
  • The Green Pass is required for the use of the indoor pool, the fitness room as well as our yoga room.
  • However, there is a legal minimum distance for the use of the saunas and a 30-day documentation of all sauna visits. Therefore, please register and book your sauna visits at the reception, in the bathhouse or at the pool bar.
  • Massages and cosmetic treatments are possible with face mask.
  • To ensure that we can observe the minimum distance rules for all sauna infusions, fitness & yoga courses, participation is only possible with prior registration (at the reception or in the Guestnet).
  • All areas in the wellness area are optimally ventilated.
