South Tyrol, nature, hiking, wellness, design hotel

life is simply wonderful. That's what we think about our design hotel, about South Tyrol and about Merano

We have designed our hotel to our taste and hope that our guests will be as pleased with it as we are. Hotel Tyrol has been in existence for more than 35 years. However, it has been a design hotel only for 2 years, when we, Boris and Susanne took over the hotel from Boris's parents, Frieda and Helmuth. We have turned the purely wellness and hiking hotel into a design hotel in South Tyrol near Merano. It is still environmentally-friendly and offers the hiker, the gourmet, the wellness aficionado and those who love South Tyrol everything they could possibly want.

What you can expect from us:

A small hotel, with only 38 rooms
Snug, uncomplicated, with a family atmosphere
Close to Merano and in the midst of Nature
In the midst of the natural world of South Tyrol and yet close to the town
Delicious food
The head chef, Raphael and his team devote themselves to making you happy
Environmentally friendly
We recycle rubbish, save electricity and water and cook in an environmentally-friendly fashion
Guaranteed free of Alpine kitsch
We like red deer - but not on the wallpaper!
The coolest hotel bar in South Tyrol
Sit comfortably in a designer egg chair and sip a cocktail
The loveliest pool in the world
with a pool bar, designer sun loungers and a panoramic view of the mountains
Uncomplicated atmosphere
Chic but not starchy: informal holidays with informal hosts
