Hiking Areas
Two hiking areas directly in front of the hotel at every level of altitude and difficulty.
It only takes 10 or 15 minutes to walk to the two cable cars on either side of the valley that take you up to the gentle and nostalgic Vigiljoch and up to the mountains of the rugged Texelgroup Nature Park.
But further down there you can also find wonderful easy walks and medium-difficulty hiking trails with old irrigation channels (the so-called "Waalwege"), cows and goats, mountain huts... to discover. There is something for every hiker, and we can also advise you individually with our insider tips.

Cable cars
From the hotel directly into the cable car... in 10 minutes you can easily reach the valley stations of the two cable cars "Texelbahn" and "Aschbach" on foot.
