Archeoparc in Val Senales Valley

In this unique interactive museum it is possible to relive the past and get a closer look at how Ötzi and his contemporaries lived in the Neolithic times.

The museum concentrates on the Neolithic period and has excellent explanation boards, photographs, films and various other attractions. In the out door area visitors can experience what every-day life was like 5000 years ago: there are reconstructed huts, clothes, implements and tools, and demonstrations of labour and living conditions, of daily necessities and of how they built houses in the Neolithic civilization.
From just outside the museum there is also a good view of the place where Ötzi was discovered partially buried in ice on the Tisenjoch, also the Archeoparc presents a rich, varied programme of attractions and events, like cooking, making bread, musical instruments or cords and nets, dyeing wool or weaving.
